The diameter of these thumb screws are 14mm roughly. They have to be this size to properly encapsulate the bolt head. So if you are using these thumb screws on the alignment bars that come with your laser, they will overhand just a hair. This is not an issue unless you have a tall object you are pushing up against the bars for alignment. In this case, you will have to push the object up against the thumb screw head.
